Event Details

The Greater Wichita Area Sports Commission, a 501(c)3 non-profit, has operated the annual marathon since 2010 when it was rebranded from the Wichita Marathon to the Prairie Fire Marathon which is held on the second Sunday of October. The Prairie Fire Spring Half Marathon was added in 2013 and is held on the first Sunday of May.

Where can I register?

When and where is packet pickup?

Packet pickup will be held in Exhibition Hall from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, May 3.

All packets must be picked up on Saturday.
There is no race day packet pickup.
Packets cannot be mailed to participants.
Participants unable to get to packet pickup may have someone else pick up their packet for them. Their representative must show a copy of the participant’s photo ID and a note authorizing the representative to pick up the packet, in order to claim the packet and premiums.
